• Veterinarian and Careers with Animals  (Hybrid) July 7-11,2025

     10am-11:30am Monday- Friday Virtual, Friday in Upper Marlboro, MD

 

• ​This camp is for those who love animals and dream of becoming a veterinarian or working with animals! This exciting hybrid camp offers a unique opportunity to explore careers in animal science through engaging virtual activities and special in-person visit to Upper Marlboro, Maryland on Friday.  Participants will discover various careers with animals- from veterinarians, to zoologists and pet adoption specialists, and learn the basics of animal anatomy and how to properly care for household pets.  Explore responsible pet ownership and animal behavior, create your own DIY pet products and meet STEM professionals! This camp blends STEM learning with career exposure, giving participants an early start in understanding the science - and heart- behind animal care.

• Farm to Table - Agriculture & Entreprenuership (Hybrid) July 14-18,2025

    10am-12 pm (Mon & Fri in Fort Washington, Maryland) 

• Let's  take  a journey from the roots of farming to the delights of the dining table! This camp focuses on the exciting world of horticulture and sustainable agriculture. Over the course of a week, campers will delve into the art of using natural food dyes, discover the medicinal benefits of herbs, and learn how these elements come together in culinary creations. By bringing together local farmers and chefs, this camp ignites entrepreneurial spirits and paves the way for future careers.

• Cosmetic Chemistry   July 28-August 1, 2025

    10:00-11:30 am
    Monday- Thursday, virtual
    Friday at The Formulation Bar in Crofton 

 

• - a uniquely designed summer camp that merges the creative world of music with the cutting-edge sphere of technology! Hosted for children entering grades 5-8, this camp is the perfect platform for young minds to explore the fascinating field of sound engineering. Through a week-long journey, campers will dive into the science behind sound, learn about careers in sound engineering, and get hands-on experience with real-world applications in theater, movies, and music production.

Participants will experience a virtual or hybrid summer camp!  Registration will include :

• a SCP lab kit 

• Guided instruction by SCP professional  

• Math and science tutoring 

• Guided hands on activities 

• Scientific method workshop

• A virtual visit to STEM professionals

• Hybrid campers will experience an in person, outdoor activity with a community partner! Transportation is not included. No drop-off option as guardians must be present/nearby.

(students may be required to bring minimal materials to “virtual camp” contingent upon session)
